Can't Find the Sargent - Guild Wars Forums

I have an odd problem. I went through the Academy and watched the cutscene. While I was in the cutscene, it told me that one of my party mates was skipping the cutscene. When I loaded up Post-Searing, he was already way ahead of me. I noticed that Sargent Oric (I know that is not his name, can't seem to figure out what it is) had a quest for me. As I started to read the quest, the other guy in my party entered the city. Of course I went into the city too and didn't get the quest.

Now I can't find the NPC to get the quest. I am worried that this is a major plot quest. I have tried to go out all the portals in the city but I cant seem to find him. The problem is that because I was only outside for a few seconds, I have no clue what the area he was in looked like. I thought maybe he went inside after the first time you talked to him, but I can't find him inside either.

Is this an important quest? Is he still around so I can get the quest? If so where is he?

as long as you are through the academy go and have fun
